Hiking - There is a famous hike between Elgol and Sligachan. The path gets rougher as it climbs the hillside and curves around the lower slopes of Sgurr na Stri. You will have wonderful views of the mountains on the way back, but watch your step as the path is narrow in places! You have the option of taking the long ride ( 3 hrs) when you can get off at one of the islands and go on a trek returning back in time for the next boat or you can just do a round trip (1 1/2 hr).
